There is absolutely no movement of players once teams are formed and handed out to coaches. All coordinators have the final say in the make up of teams and placement of players. Should the CFC find out about any "behind the scenes player movement" all parties involved may be expelled from the Association for a time to be determined by the CFC Executive.

No. This is the responsibility of each team.

8.

Can I mail my registration and payment in and will I receive confirmation that it has been received?

Yes. You'll find the CFC's address on the bottom of your registration form.  However, there is no confirmation given when your registration is received. Mark the form as paid by cheque number or money order and keep the pink copy as that is supposed to be your receipt. Otherwise you won't here from us until a coach contacts you in August.

9.

When I was registering my child I forgot to put a request on my registration form.  Is there anyway I can have this added to the form?

You may ask that this be done for you but there is no promise or guarantee that it will happen.

At the end of the registration session on June 16th.

Registration closes on June 30th for all age groups.  Any registrations received after this date will be placed on a waiting list and placed only if space is available.
12.

Can I fax my registration in and then mail the original?

No. Faxed copies of the registration form are not accepted under any circumstance. A child is considered registered only when we have the original registration form and payment method in hand.

13. Is there anyway we can avoid travelling once our children graduate from miniball to full field?

Unfortunately no. The CFC must affiliate with and operate under the jurisdiction of it's parent Districts (The Central Fraser Valley Girls and The Fraser Valley Youth Soccer Association) who are in turn mandated by BC Soccer.  Failure to comply with the rules and regulations put forth by these institutions will result in 1. no insurance for any of our players 2. no fields for our players to play on as we will not be insured  3. no referees  4. no coaches training and 5. all of our teams would be ineligible to participate in ANY soccer event outside of Chilliwack.

14.

We live in the Agassiz-Harrison-Chehalis area can our children play in Chilliwack?

Yes, even though your home District is the Alouette Youth Soccer Association you may register and play here but the children are classified as Out of District players and geographic location is not necessarily considered when teams are formed.  The CFC must uphold BC Soccer's Rule 23 which states that no more than 3 Out of District players can play on any one team.  Translation,  the CFC cannot form a team that consists of strictly players from your area we are limited to placing a maximum of 3 players per team and must get special release from the Alouette District for them to play here.  As a result, requests are more difficult to fulfill due to this rule being in placed.

15.

Am I required to provide a uniform deposit for my child's uniform?

For mini ball players no.  The CFC holds onto all mini ball individual and team pictures until the uniform is returned.

For Full Field players yes.  A $50 uniform deposit is now required for all full field players who register for the upcoming 2009-10 fall season.  Coaches will collect a cheque dated for April 15th then give you a uniform.  No deposit, no uniform.  At the end of the season should a player fail to return his or her uniform to the coach the coach will then turn over the deposit to the CFC when the team's equipment is returned.
